🩺為什麼要做體檢？
根據《職業安全衛生法》第20條規定，雇主需於僱用勞工時進行體格檢查，而每位新進人員也有配合檢查的義務。這是為了確保您適合即將投入的工作內容，並提前發現潛在健康風險，保障自身權益。

👩‍🏫 新進人員包含誰呢？
無論您是編制內依法任用的公教人員、約聘教師、研究人員（含博士後）、約用行政人員、研究計畫助理，或是勞僱型的兼任助理、技工、工友等，只要工作期間達六個月以上，都是我們歡迎的新夥伴！為了一起守護校園的健康與安全，請您記得完成體檢並填寫健康問卷。讓我們一起打造安心、健康的工作環境！

⏰ 體檢該何時做？
1. 體格檢查須於到職前完成，以確保您具備從事本職務之健康適任性，並維護本校各工作場所之安全與健康。
2. 體檢報告製作通常需時 14～30 個工作日，建議您提早安排，避免影響報到程序。
3. 請您於報到當日繳交經計畫主持人及單位主管核章之「體格檢查檢核表」與「健康評估調查表」，並攜帶體檢報告至諮商與健康促進組完成繳交手續。
4. 若您在報到當天尚未取得體檢報告，也別擔心！請攜帶完成體檢之相關證明文件（如體檢收據等），並先填寫「體格檢查切結書」。請記得體檢報告在起聘日起兩週內（含假日）完成補交，以完成報到程序。

📬 忘了交體檢報告會怎樣？
依《職業安全衛生法》規定，未依規定繳交報告者，可能處新臺幣三千元以下罰鍰。我們當然不希望您遇到這樣的情況，請記得準時繳交喔！

目前學校不提供統一安排新進人員體格檢查。請新進人員自行安排並自費完成檢查。

🩺 Why is a physical check-up necessary?
According to Article 20 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, employers must conduct physical examinations upon hiring. All new employees are required to undergo this check to ensure suitability for the role and to detect any potential health risks early—protecting your health and rights.

👩‍🏫 Who needs to complete a physical exam?
Whether you are a formally appointed public servant, contract-based teacher, researcher (including postdocs), administrative staff, research assistant, part-time labor-based assistant, technician, or support staff—as long as your employment period is six months or longer, you're one of our valued new team members! To help us maintain a safe and healthy campus, please complete your physical examination and fill out the health questionnaire. Together, we can create a safe and supportive work environment!

⏰ When should the physical check be completed?
1. The medical examination must be completed prior to your employment start date to ensure your medical fitness for the position and to maintain the safety and health of all workplaces within the University.
2. Reports typically take 14–30 business days to be processed, so please plan ahead to avoid delays in onboarding.
3. Please submit the “Physical Examination Checklist” and the “Health Assessment Questionnaire”, both signed or stamped by the project principal investigator and the department supervisor, on the day of registration.You should also bring your medical examination report to the Counseling and Health Promotion Section to complete the submission procedures.
4. If you have not yet obtained your physical examination report on the day of reporting for duty, there’s no need to worry! Please bring relevant proof of having completed the examination (such as a receipt), and fill out the “Affidavit for Deferred Submission of Physical Examination Report.” The report must be submitted within two weeks (including holidays) from your official start date to complete the onboarding process.

📬 What happens if I forget to submit the report?
According to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, failing to submit the report may result in a fine of up to NT$3,000. We certainly hope to avoid this—so please remember to submit it on time!

💰 Who covers the cost of the physical exam?
Since the physical exam is a pre-employment requirement, you are responsible for the cost. Please choose a certified clinic or hospital that suits your needs.

🏥 Will the university arrange a group physical exam?
Currently, the university does not provide centralized physical exams for new staff. Please arrange and complete the exam independently and at your own expense.
