📡 傳染方式
• 空氣傳播
• 飛沫傳染
• 接觸病患鼻腔或咽喉分泌物即可感染

⚠️ 臨床症狀

① 前驅期症狀

出現以下症狀時，表示可能進入麻疹前驅期：
🔹 發高燒
🔹 鼻炎
🔹 結膜炎（如畏光、流淚、眼紅）
🔹 咳嗽
🔹 發病後第 3～4 天，口腔下臼齒對側內頰黏膜出現 柯氏斑點（Koplik spots）

② 紅疹期

🔸 柯氏斑點出現後約 1–2 天內，出現典型紅疹
🔸 紅疹從耳後開始，逐步擴散至臉部 → 軀幹（第2天）→ 四肢（第3天）
🔸 全身紅疹持續約 4～7 天，此時病情最嚴重，體溫達最高點
🔸 紅疹退後，會出現鱗屑性脫皮與褐色素沉著

③ 常見併發症（約 5–10%）

🧨 中耳炎
🧨 肺炎
🧨 腦炎
👉 這些併發症多因細菌或病毒二次感染所致

🛡️ 預防方法

💉 預防接種

1. 接種含麻疹活性減毒疫苗，可使超過 95% 的人產生主動免疫力
2. 常規接種時程：
     📌 出生滿12個月：接種第一劑 MMR（麻疹、腮腺炎、德國麻疹混合疫苗）
     📌 滿5歲至入小學前：接種第二劑 MMR

👥 Reservoir of Infection

Humans are the only known host and source of infection.

📡 Modes of Transmission

• Airborne transmission
• Droplet transmission
• Direct contact with nasal or throat secretions of infected individuals

⚠️ Clinical Symptoms

① Prodromal Symptoms

The following signs indicate the early (prodromal) phase of measles:
🔹 High fever
🔹 Rhinitis (runny nose)
🔹 Conjunctivitis (light sensitivity, tearing, red eyes)
🔹 Cough
🔹 On days 3–4 of fever onset, Koplik spots appear on the inner cheek opposite the lower molars

② Rash Phase

🔸 About 1–2 days after Koplik spots, the characteristic rash develops
🔸 Rash starts behind the ears, then spreads to the face → torso (day 2) → limbs (day 3)
🔸 Rash usually lasts 4–7 days, with the illness most severe and body temperature peaking during this time
🔸 As the rash fades, scaly peeling and brownish skin pigmentation may occur

③ Common Complications (affecting 5–10% of cases)

🧨 Otitis media (middle ear infection)
🧨 Pneumonia
🧨 Encephalitis
👉 These complications are often caused by secondary bacterial or viral infections

🛡️ Prevention

💉 Vaccination

1. The live attenuated measles vaccine can provide active immunity in over 95% of recipients
2. Routine immunization schedule:
     📌 At 12 months of age: 1st dose of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine)
     📌 At age 5–before entering elementary school: 2nd dose of MMR
