📢 Chickenpox Prevention and Control Notice

水痘為急性全身性疾病，具高度傳染性。敬請全校教職員工生提高警覺，並確實配合防疫措施。
Chickenpox is an acute systemic disease with high infectivity. Faculty, staff, and students are urged to stay vigilant and follow prevention measures.

為維護校園安全、防止疫情擴散，確診者嚴禁到校上班或上課，應在家休養，直至所有水疱完全結痂變乾，並經醫師評估無傳染風險後，方可返校。
To maintain campus safety and prevent outbreaks, confirmed cases must not attend classes or work. Rest at home until all blisters are fully scabbed and dry, and a doctor confirms no risk of transmission before returning.

一、症狀說明

1. Symptoms

水痘潛伏期結束後，在出疹前 1–2 天，可能出現以下初期症狀：
After the incubation period, early symptoms may appear 1–2 days before rash onset:

• 輕微發燒（約 37.5–39℃）
• Mild fever (37.5–39℃)

• 倦怠、食慾不振
• Fatigue, loss of appetite

• 頭痛、肌肉痠痛、關節痠痛
• Headache, muscle or joint pain

之後皮膚會出現紅疹，逐漸發展為紅丘疹、水泡、膿泡，最終結痂痊癒。
Rashes then develop into red spots, blisters, pustules, and finally scabs.

水泡多由臉部、頭皮擴散至軀幹及四肢，整體病程約 2–4 週。
Lesions often spread from the face and scalp to the trunk and limbs, lasting about 2–4 weeks.

二、傳染力強

2. High Infectivity

同住家人間的傳染率可達 85% 以上。
Household transmission rate can exceed 85%.

三、好發季節

3. Common Seasons

多見於冬季與早春。
Most common in winter and early spring.

四、傳播途徑

4. Transmission

• 飛沫傳染、空氣傳播
• Airborne droplets and aerosols

• 與病患皮膚直接接觸
• Direct contact with lesions

• 接觸帶狀疱疹患者水泡亦可感染
• Contact with shingles blisters

• 接觸受污染物品亦可能間接傳染
• Indirect contact via contaminated items

🔸 Scabs are not infectious

五、潛伏期

5. Incubation Period

約 10–21 天，其中接觸後第 14–16 天為發病高峰期。
10–21 days, with peak onset at 14–16 days after exposure.

六、具傳染期

6. Infectious Period

自出疹前 1–2 天起即具傳染性，直到所有病灶完全結痂才不具傳染力。
Infectious from 1–2 days before rash onset until all lesions scab over.

出疹前為傳染力最強時期。
Most infectious during the pre-rash stage.

七、感受性與再感染

7. Susceptibility and Reinfection

未曾感染者皆具感受性。
All uninfected individuals are susceptible.

再次感染機率低。
Reinfection is rare.

初次感染後，病毒可能潛伏體內，未來可能以帶狀疱疹形式復發。
The virus may remain latent and later reactivate as shingles.

八、預防方式

8. Prevention

接種疫苗：水痘疫苗為活性減毒疫苗，約 95% 的接種者可產生抗體，保護力至少可持續 7 年。
Vaccination: The varicella vaccine is a live attenuated vaccine. About 95% of recipients develop antibodies, with protection lasting at least 7 years.

即使感染，症狀通常也會較輕微。
Even if infection occurs, symptoms are usually milder.

建議未具免疫力者經醫師評估後接種疫苗。
Vaccination is recommended for those without immunity, after medical evaluation.

若出現疑似症狀，應立即配戴口罩、穿著長袖衣褲，並儘速就醫。
If symptoms appear, wear a mask and long sleeves, and seek medical care promptly.

確診者應停止上課或上班，並依醫師指示進行健康管理。
Confirmed cases must stop attending classes or work and follow the doctor’s instructions for health management.

病灶完全結痂、無傳染力，並取得醫師診斷證明後，方可返校。
Return to campus only after all lesions are fully scabbed, no longer infectious, and with a doctor’s certificate.

九、接觸者注意事項

9. Contact Precautions

接觸者應加強衛生並進行自主健康監測，觀察期為最後接觸日起 21 天。
Contacts should strengthen hygiene and self-monitor for 21 days after last exposure.

觀察期間可正常上課上班。
Daily activities, classes, and work may continue during observation.

若出現疑似症狀，應立即配戴口罩、穿長袖衣褲並就醫。
If symptoms develop, wear a mask, long sleeves, and seek medical care immediately.

十、🔹 暴露後預防措施
10.🔹 Post-exposure Measures

無水痘抗體者，應於暴露後 72 小時內接種疫苗，效果最佳。
For individuals without varicella antibodies, vaccination within 72 hours of exposure provides the best protection.

最遲於 5 天內接種，仍可提供約 70% 的保護力。
Vaccination within 5 days of exposure still offers about 70% protection.

即使超過 5 天接種，亦能提供後續保護。
Even if given after 5 days, vaccination still provides future protection.

接種前應由醫師評估，確認無禁忌症後再接種。
Vaccination requires medical evaluation to ensure no contraindications.
